2024 A Playful & Peaceful Year
2024 was an amazing first year of events & offerings for Happy Body

2024 was such an amazing year to be a yoga teacher, as I am reflecting on the year I am feeling so blessed & so incredibly grateful.
What were your favorite 'Happy Body' events, classes or moments of 2024?!?!
2024 brought some amazing opportunities my way.
I got to continue my yoga teacher training, gaining another 75 hours of credits focused on pranayama, breathwork, at Kripalu.
I got the pleasure of sharing yoga with the wonderful teachers & staff of the Keuka Lake School, with my roller derby team the Dolls of Destruction, & with other folks in recovery at an IAWA retreat. All such cool opportunities where I learned & felt so much.
I was able to help at least one puppy find its fur-ever home & fulfill a bucket list wish of being covered in puppies in collaboration with the Shelter of Hope, Humane Society of Yates.
I was able to put together & host a whole Wellness Festival, with the generous help of many- thank you teachers, every one of you brought something beautiful & authentic, I appreciate & love you all. Special thanks to Scott-the hours of brainstorming, back & forth & your confidence in me meant the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you Bri. Rachel & Mom, you are both the best, I don't know what I would do without you. Thank you to all of the vendors & services there. Thank you to all attendees & everyone who came to move, it was one of the most amazing days of my life. I appreciate all your patience, words of encouragement & am so looking forward to improving for '25.
I got to co-create & delve into the spiritual side of things with some wonderful, wise women. Adrianna, Kristen & Lisa I admire you so & am so grateful to be near your magic, thank you for sharing your energy & talents.
I was able to play, getting my first introduction to a light saber, I am grateful to Jeremy & Kendra, sharing their talents and teaching Ludo sport, even with their busy international schedule.
I was given the opportunity to try something new in two venues with chair yoga & have been truly loving the experience of working with seniors. Thank you to the Penn Yan Public Library & Yates Community Center for allowing me to teach within your wonderful community-oriented spaces. Big shout out to Alex & Chasity - I appreciate your faith in me & guidance.
I was very pleased to be given some opportunities to teach beside and learn from the fantastic folks of Geneva Breathes, thank you Margret.
I was delighted to meet & get to know some kind, fabulous humans, making friends and learning so much along the way.
I am so thankful to have been hosted by some amazing venues, particularly Climbing Bines Hop Farm and Craft Ale Company. Bri, you are an absolute angel & I am eternally grateful for your support & belief in me. Thank you so much. Almost every week I was blown away that I had the opportunity to teach in such an amazing venue. I appreciate your kindness Bri & Chris, thank you so much for letting me stay a part of the Bines family.
Creative Dance Movement Studio, Laura you have been letting me play & experiment for years, thank you. Your space is a bit of a second home & I am so grateful for to be able to try my hand at yoga- particularly Fully Free yoga, I appreciate your generosity.
